RJ Mosul flights suspended ‘temporarily’

AMMAN — Royal Jordanian has said that all its flights operating between Jordan and Iraq are running as scheduled, except for those operating to Mosul which have been temporarily suspended since last Tuesday due to the prevalent security situation there.

The airline pointed out in a statement Monday that it serves five Iraqi cities: Baghdad, Basra, Suleimaniyah, Erbil and Mosul.

“The flights to these cities are running as usual; nine weekly flights to Baghdad, four to Basra, four to Suleimaniyah, nine to Erbil and two weekly flights to Mosul, which will be resumed after the security conditions become stable in this city and its airport.”
