AMMAN — The current regional circumstances call for further coordination and consultation between Jordan and Tunisia, Interior Minister Hussein Majali said on Saturday at a meeting with Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Afifah Mallah.

Discussions covered ways to develop cooperation and coordination in economic, political and security areas.

The two sides agreed to pursue efforts to boost bilateral cooperation.

Meanwhile, Mallah commended the “wise policy” of His Majesty King Abdullah and his choices, which she said have made Jordan a bright model to be followed.

The ambassador made this statement in her speech at a ceremony on Thursday marking the 58th anniversary of Tunisia’s independence.
