Regent visits JAF’s General Command

HRH Crown Prince Hussein, the Regent, on Monday paid a visit to the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army’s (JAF) General Command, a Royal Court statement said.
Upon his arrival, the Crown Prince was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, and the two discussed the JAF’s operations and exercises, as well as logistical matters.
The Regent expressed his pride in the JAF’s efforts in defending the country and maintaining its security and stability.
His Majesty King Abdullah left the Kingdom earlier in the day on a personal visit, according to the statement, and the Crown Prince was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members. (Photo courtesy of Royal Court)
