Regent discusses anti-terrorism efforts with French defence minister

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal, the Regent, on Sunday discussed cooperation with French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, especially in defence and military fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, Prince Feisal voiced the Kingdom's keenness to boost relations with France to serve mutual interests.
Talks also covered efforts to deal with regional crises and find political solutions to boost global security and stability, in addition to efforts to fight terrorism through a comprehensive approach. The French minister commended Jordan's firm stances to pursue peace. Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and French Ambassador to Jordan David Bertolotti attended the meeting.
