Regent attends tactical military exercise in Central Military Region

AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein, the Regent, on Thursday attended a tactical exercise conducted by the 40th King Hussein bin Talal Royal Armoured Brigade of the Central Military Region.
The Regent was briefed on the progress of various operational, logistical, and training matters, as well as on the objectives of the exercise, according to a Royal Court statement.
The exercise simulated area defence operations, with the participation of various army formations and the use of drones in the theatre of operations for reconnaissance and attack.
In addition, the exercise utilised medium-range artillery, anti-tank weaponry, explosives, and aerial cover by fighter jets and choppers from the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
Crown Prince Hussein commended the advanced skills, capabilities, and readiness displayed during the exercise, praising the professionalism and high morale of the participants, the statement said.
