Razzaz discusses changes to curricula with House bloc

AMMAN — The Lower House Reform Bloc on Thursday met with Education Minister Omar Razzaz to discuss curriculum changes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the meeting, members of the bloc handed the minister their report on educational reforms.
The bloc called for returning to the 2014 edition of school textbooks and cancelling the 2015 and 2016 editions, which contain the changes.
Razzaz said the ministry is keen on cooperating with the legislative authority to improve the educational process, stressing the need for the continuous update of the curricula to cope with various developments, while maintaining national values and principles.
