AMMAN — Environment Minister Muawieh Radaideh and Australian Ambassador Bernard Lynch on Tuesday met over advancing cooperation and coordination between both countries.
The two sides discussed means to optimise cutting-edge technologies, notably to reduce the amount of water required for irrigation and increase production, as well as replace chemical fertilisers with others derived from animal or vegetable matter within a scientific mechanism, especially that such technologies have been used in Australia and China, and proved efficient.
Radaydah and Lynch agreed to hold a meeting that would include the ministers of water and agriculture to discuss the implementation of the new irrigation technology in Jordan, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
