Queen hosts henna party to celebrate Princess Iman’s upcoming wedding

AMMAN — In celebration of HRH Princess Iman bint Abdullah and Mr Jameel Alexander Thermiotis’ upcoming wedding, Her Majesty Queen Rania held a henna party in honour of the Princess at Al Husseiniya Palace on Tuesday.

Among those in attendance were several princesses and members of the Jordanian Royal Family, HRH Crown Prince Hussein’s fiancée, Ms Rajwa Al Saif, and a number of women from across Jordan’s governorates, according to a statement from Her Majesty’s office.

At the party, Naya Group, the first all-female musical ensemble in Jordan performed traditional Jordanian pieces inspired by the Kingdom’s heritage.
