Qatarneh stresses enhancing UAE-Jordan private sector cooperation

AMMAN — Secretary General of the Investment Ministry Zaher Qatarneh on Wednesday met the Jordan-UAE Business Council over advancing partnerships and promoting the Kingdom's investment opportunities.
During a meeting, on the sidelines of his visit to Expo 2020 Dubai, Qatarneh highlighted the importance of developing a mechanism to promote the partnership between the Jordanian and UAE private sectors, bolster relations notably in investment, economic and trade-related fields.
In a ministry statement, Qatarneh stressed the two sides' keenness to advance the private sectors’ cooperation.
He highlighted the role of UAE investments in Jordan in supporting the economy through helping create jobs and enhancing sustainable development efforts.
