Public works minister inspects Dead Sea Road rehabilitation

AMMAN — Minister of Public Works and Housing Maher Abu Al Sammen on Wednesday inspected the Dead Sea Road, along with its recently rehabilitated bridges and water tunnels, in preparation for the winter season. Abu Al Sammen also checked on the construction works aimed at enhancing the road's efficiency and the concrete structures along the Dead Sea-Wadi Arabah Road. This included the construction of a new concrete bridge and maintenance activities on eight existing bridges and 168 water tunnels, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The minister also toured the Southern Shounah-Ramah-Al Kafrin road, where expansion and maintenance have been undertaken.
