Public works minister, Chinese ambassador discuss construction projects

AMMAN — Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Kisbi on Monday met with China’s Ambassador to Jordan Chen Chuandong to discuss bolstering cooperation in the fields of housing, construction and contracting, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Kisbi expressed the ministry's aspiration to benefit from China’s expertise, stressing the depth of relations between the countries in all fields.
Kisbi praised China's unwavering, continuous support for a number of development projects, especially those related to infrastructure in Jordan.
He highlighted the grants China provides, including financing the expansion and renovation project of the Salt Al Ardah road, which will be implemented soon after the completion of all bidding procedures.
The minister also reviewed a number of additional projects, some the ministry has completed and others still under implementation.
Kisbi wished the Republic of China and its people continued progress, success and prosperity.
Chuandong also expressed his aspiration to enhance cooperation between the countries.
