Public institutions’ working hours suspended June 1 for Royal wedding

AMMAN — On the occasion of the wedding of HRH Crown Prince Hussein and Miss Rajwa Khalid Al Saif, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Tuesday issued a circular announcing the suspension of working hours at all ministries, official departments, public institutions, universities, municipalities, councils, the Greater Amman Municipality and government-owned companies on June 1, 2023.
The decision also stipulated that working hours for the aforementioned entities will conclude on Wednesday, May 31, at 1pm.
The decision excluded ministries, departments and official institutions in which the nature of work requires otherwise, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. This decision aims to honour this special occasion and allow official and public celebrations to take place.
