Public holiday announced for Prophet Mohammad’s birthday

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Wednesday announced that all ministries, government departments and public institutions will observe a holiday marking Prophet Mohammad’s birthday on Tuesday, November 20, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Prophet Mohammad was born on the 12th day of Rabi II on the Islamic lunar calendar. Razzaz stressed in an official statement released on Sunday that all official institutions should contribute in highlighting the "noble" occasion.
