PSD, PCP seek to increase police cooperation

AMMAN — Director General of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh and Director General of the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP) Maj. Gen. Yousef Al Helou on Sunday discussed ways to increase cooperation on issues of joint interest.

Hawatmeh expressed PSD’s readiness to share all its expertise to serve the security forces personnel from “the brotherly countries”, commending the current level of cooperation with the Palestinian side, especially in the areas of training and police capacity building, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Helou praised the “advanced level” PSD has reached and its relations with the Palestinian security forces, voicing hope to increase cooperation in the field of police training and sharing expertise.
