PSD investigates explosives incident in Marka

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced on Saturday that security forces are investigating a case involving explosives in the South Marka area.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a group of individuals had stored quantities of explosives inside a house in the South Marka area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Explosives experts from the Corps of Royal Engineers and security agencies dealt with the incident and detonated the explosives on-site after taking all necessary precautions, including isolating and evacuating the area, resulting in no reported injuries.

The directorate urged everyone to stay away from the house and allow security forces to continue their work without any interference.
