PSD director meets Qatar’s anti-narcotics chief over cooperation

AMMAN — Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Fadel Hmoud and Brig Gen. Ahmad Kawwari, director general of the anti-narcotics department in Qatar, on Monday discussed means to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in addressing drug issues.

Hmoud said that the PSD always seeks to improve the level of cooperation with Arab departments working in the anti-narcotics field, stressing the department’s readiness to offer its expertise to Arab security apparatuses, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. For his part, Kawwari praised the advanced level the PSD has achieved, voicing keenness to further develop cooperation between the two countries’ PSD.
