PSD chief calls for enhancing humanitarian, security services

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Thursday stressed the need for proceeding with improving the humanitarian- and security-related services, as well as enhancing the rule of law.
During a meeting with heads and directors of police to learn about the most importance strategic plans and projects to improve the directorate’s operations in various fields, Hawatmeh conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, greetings, expressing the King’s pride in the police personnel’s efforts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hawatmeh highlighted the human element, urging to provide the most appropriate working environment for individuals and officers. PSD retirees are an integral part of the security system, he said, stressing the need to benefit from their expertise.
