PSD chief attends policewomen graduation ceremony

AMMAN — Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Faqih on Thursday attended the graduation ceremony of a new batch of female police officers at the Princess Basma Training Institute for Policewomen.
In his speech during the ceremony, Faqih expressed his pride in the graduates, who, he said, have received practical police training and theoretical knowledge that are necessary to empower them to implement their duties in various PSD units, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that the presence of women officers in the PSD, with their various qualifications, enhanced the role of police units in performing their duties.
