AMMAN — The Jordanian National Campaign to Thwart the Gas Deal with the Zionist Entity held a rally on Friday in protest against a projected gas import deal with Israel.
The march started after Friday prayers from the Professional Associations Complex in Shmeisani and ended at the Prime Ministry at the 4th Circle.
Participants called on the government to search for energy alternatives, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The protesters expressed their objection to the deal planned to be signed between the National Electric Power Company and US Noble Energy Company, which owns 39 per cent of the Leviathan natural gas field in Israel.
