Projected plan to develop environmental projects in Jordan

AMMAN — The Environment Ministry and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) on Thursday signed an agreement to prepare a plan to develop environmental projects in Jordan, achieve sustainable development and attract green investments.
Environment Minister Taher Shakhshir said the ministry, under the agreement, will provide facilities to public and private sector institutions involved in fields related to the environment such as energy, water, transport and tourism.
GGGI Director General Yvo de Boer said Jordan’s natural environment can attract projects from around the world.
