Princess Wijdan inaugurates exhibition of traditional dresses

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Princess Muna, HRH Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi inaugurated an exhibition showcasing a collection of traditional dresses and jewellery items from Bethlehem and its surrounding villages, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The exhibition, also toured by HRH Princess Majda Raad, is being held at Widad Kawar Home for Arab dress, Tiraz, and will continue for two months.
Princess Wijdan told Petra that the exhibition documents national identity through a collection of traditional dresses that offer a comprehensive image of the region’s history.
