Princess Sumaya inaugurates conference on Wadi Rum

AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya on Wednesday inaugurated the second Wadi Rum conference titled “Desert and Men”.
Representatives from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Germany, the US, France and Jordan are attending the three-day conference, organised by the French embassy in Amman.
Jordan’s representative on UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee Moawiyah Ibrahim highlighted the importance of Wadi Rum as a natural and cultural site.
