Princess Dina inaugurates mobile mammography unit in Karak

KARAK — HH Princess Dina Mired, director general of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), on Sunday inaugurated a mobile mammography unit at Karak Public Hospital.
At the inauguration ceremony, Princess Dina, who is also honorary chairperson of the Jordan Breast Cancer Programme, said every woman has the right to access this service.
The one-year programme includes house visits to women in Karak Governorate to raise their awareness, train them on self-examination to detect breast cancer, and urge them to undergo a mammogram at the mobile unit.
