Prince Raad inaugurates workshop on organ donation

AMMAN — HRH Prince Raad on Monday inaugurated a workshop on organ donation and brain death.

The two-day workshop, organised by the Jordan Centre for Organ Transplantation in cooperation with the Saudi Centre for Organ Transplantation and the Jordan Society for Organ Donation, focuses on the ethical aspects of brain death, how to diagnose it, and how to handle organ donation in cases of brain death.

Speaking at the workshop, Prince Raad highlighted the importance of organ donation, which leads to a better life for beneficiaries.
