Prince Raad attends ceremony to honour ophthalmologists

AMMAN — More focus should be directed towards medical education, provided that it is within an institutional framework, HRH Prince Raad, Chief Chamberlain, said Saturday.
Attending a ceremony to honour ophthalmologists, organised by Al Shami Eye Centre, Prince Raad, who is also president of the Friends of the Jordan Eye Bank Society, noted that over the past few years, the society has received more than 4,000 irises donated locally, the cost of which had they been imported would have been $6 million.
