Prince Raad attends ceremonies in Turkey marking WWI battle

ANKARA — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Raad, the Chief Chamberlain, has participated in ceremonies held by the Turkish government to mark the centenary of the World War I Battle of Gallipoli or the Battle of Çanakkale.
The prince, accompanied by Jordan’s Ambassador to Turkey Amjad Adaileh, also participated in a peace summit that was recently held in Istanbul.
On the sidelines of his participation in the conference, Prince Raad met with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Iraq’s President Fouad Masoum, Prince Charles of the UK and several heads of participating delegations.
