Prince Hassan calls for supporting occupied Jerusalem

AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan on Sunday night called for supporting occupied Jerusalem and its residents, especially as the holy city houses followers of all Abrahamic faiths.
In a symposium moderated by Chief Islamic Justice Ahmad Hilayel, Prince Hassan stressed the importance of fighting oppression, highlighting the status of justice and mercy in Islam, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also stressed the importance of family unity as a means to combat the spread of extremist ideologies.
The prince also reiterated the need to establish a global zakat institution to spread the values of solidarity and tolerance, noting that it could also be used to provide assistance to Jerusalemites.
