AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, president of the Arab Thought Forum (ATF), on Sunday attended an ATF conference dubbed, “The four pillar of the nation”, which covers Arabs, Turks, Persians and Kurds, a forum statement said.
In his speech, Prince Hassan said that these four demographic components suffer political, cultural and ideological differences and face immense challenges, warning against letting differences dominate commonalities.
He highlighted the importance of facing challenges through a collective mechanism, citing obstacles such as achieving comprehensive security that includes combating weapons of mass destruction, realising human dignity and overcoming hunger and fear.
Intellectuals from the four ethnicities called for establishing an action team and organising an annual conference under the supervision of the forum.
