Prince Hassan addresses UAE gov’t communication conference

AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, president of the Arab Thought Forum, on Tuesday emphasised the necessity of transforming individual, community and government communication, as well as developing "our creative abilities for the further benefit of our peoples and to deepen stability in the Arab region".
In a televised speech during the Sharjah-held International Conference on Government Communication, the prince highlighted the importance of adaptive behaviour in dealing with accelerated development around the world, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Prince Hassan also called for replacing the term "government communication" with "public communication". He stressed that "public communication" would enhance democratic life and engage citizens in decision-making.
