Prince Hashim presides 113th Hashemite Scientific Council

AMMAN —  Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Hashim Bin Al Hussein presided over the activities of the 113th Hashemite Scientific Council on Friday, titled “The Comprehensive Book of Sciences and Governance by Hafiz Ibn Rajab Hanbali”, held at the Islamic Cultural Centre, affiliated with the mosque of the late King Abdullah I.

Speaking at the council, Chief of Islamic Justice Abdul Hafez Rabtah said that the Hashemite Scientific Councils are a significant Hashemite tradition held every year during the holy month of Ramadan, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in organising these councils annually, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The event featured the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Kreishan, Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalaileh, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Jazi, Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaidin, as well as Muslim scholars and Islamic law professors from Jordan and other Muslim countries.
