Prince Feisal meets Jordanian Olympic participants

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal, member of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Executive Board and president of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), on Saturday met with the Jordanian Olympic participants in the Special Olympic Village for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The prince listened to the participants’ preparations prior to the start of their competitions in the Olympic Games. On Friday, Prince Feisal attended the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.

The 32nd edition of the Olympic Games, which will conclude on August 8, sees the participation of almost 11,000 athletes representing 205 different countries, in addition to the refugee Olympic team, Petra reported. The JOC indicated in a press statement that the prince affirmed the great achievement of participation in the Olympics, pointing to his confidence in the Jordanian team to provide its best in the Games.
