AMMAN — At a special ceremony for the University of Jordan’s (UJ) Generations For Peace (GFP) Club on Wednesday, HRH Prince Feisal, founder and chairman of GFP, presented certificates to students and university officials in recognition of their efforts to reduce violence on campus.
“The programme has strengthened the capacity of faculty and students to manage disciplinary issues and disputes in nonviolent ways, through creative and sustainable methods,” a GFP statement quoted Prince Feisal as saying.
The programme, conducted in partnership with UJ and the Youth for Youth Foundation, was supported by the US Middle East Partnership Initiative, a US government programme that supports the efforts of community organisations and individuals to create positive change in their societies.
