Prince Feisal attends symposium on gender equity in sports

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee and member of the executive council of the International Olympic Committee, participated in a seminar titled "Gender Equity Seminar" in the sports field, which is hosted by Manama over two days.

Prince Feisal commended the “great” progress that global sports witnessed in gender equality and women’s participation in leading roles at various sports organisations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He expressed happiness for the fact that the latest meeting in Seoul saw some 33 per cent of participants comprising women. Their Royal Highnesses Princess Aisha and Princess Sarah attended the symposium.
