Preparations in place for Eid Al Fitr tourists — ministry

AMMAN — The Tourism Ministry said it is ready to receive local and foreign visitors at tourist sites across the Kingdom during Eid Al Fitr holiday, the Jordan News agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.
Tourism Minister Lina Annab announced that the employees of the ministry’s departments will be on duty during the holiday to deal with the increased tourist activity in the Kingdom, noting that Tourism Police will also be ready with “qualified” cadres who are capable of speaking five languages in order to receive the tourists’ complaints and feedback.
She added that the ministry’s measures include preparing tourism sites in cooperation with the Department of Antiquities and the Jordan Tourism Board, as well as coordinating with the relevant institutions to ensure vacationers’ safety, according to a ministry statement.
