Pre-qualification begins for tenders to build 15 public schools

AMMAN — The Education Ministry on Wednesday announced the start of a period of pre-qualification to present tenders for building 15 public schools under the new building code in partnership between the public and private sectors.
The ministry called on companies and consortiums with experience in developing school buildings and similar real estate projects to apply for the pre-qualification before participating in the second and final stage to choose winners of the bidding process, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The project, which includes building 15 schools in Amman, Zarqa and Madaba, is one of the ventures listed on the government's economic action priorities for 2021-2023.
