‘Post workers foil attempt to smuggle fake dollars’

AMMAN — Jordan Post Company (JPC) Director General Khalid Lahham on Tuesday honoured several employees for foiling an attempt to smuggle fake dollars and pieces of gold to an individual in Irbid, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The security department at the JPC on Monday was suspicious of a package that arrived from the US and upon inspection the personnel discovered an attempt to smuggle $5,000 in fake dollar bills as well as 10 fake gold pieces. The items were sent to the concerned authorities.
