PM talks cooperation with French senate delegation

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, during a meeting on Monday with a delegation of members of the French senate headed by Chairman of the French-Jordanian Friendship Committee Senator Cyril Pellevat, expressed appreciation for French cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and investment.
Talks went over the latest regional developments, with the premier reaffirming Jordan’s unaltered stance towards resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of a two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The prime minister also reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts in receiving refugees from different countries, stressing its commitment to ensuring that the return of any refugee to their country is conducted appropriately.
During the meeting, Pellevat lauded the ongoing Jordanian-French cooperation, expressing pride in visiting the Kingdom, which, he said, holds to the principles of democracy and human rights.
Talks also went over means of enhancing cultural cooperation and vocational and technical training, as well as benefiting from the advanced French experience in this arena.
