PM receives NCHR’s 2021 annual report

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Sunday received a copy of the 2021 annual report on human rights in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) report includes observations on the human rights situation in the Kingdom and recommendations.
During his meeting with NCHR Chair of the Board of Trustees Samar Al Hajj Hasan, who handed the report, the premier affirmed the centre’s autonomy, noting the government’s commitment to strengthening human rights and building on the Kingdom’s achievements in this field.
Hajj Hasan reviewed the report’s main content and underlined the NCHR’s readiness to receive all requests and complaints. She also voiced keenness to sustain collaboration and coordination between the government and the centre to safeguard human rights in Jordan, within national and international human rights laws.
