PM mourns passing of former minister Jomaa

AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh mourned the passing of former Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Saed Al Din Jomaa, who passed away on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Khasawneh recalled the noble services of the late minister, who assumed the position of Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs in 1997-1998, a member of the Senate and Secretary General at the Prime Ministry, in addition to several positions in the Cabinet in which he worked for nearly 50 years.
The late minister, born in Tafileh in 1924, was honoured on a number of occasions, receiving the Order of Independence and the Order of the Star of Jordan, among other Arab and foreign honours.
