PM meets with Iraq, Kurdistan region presidents in Davos

AMMAN — During a meeting held in Davos on Wednesday, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and Iraqi President Barham Salih affirmed the historical relations between the two countries.
The Iraqi president expressed appreciation for the support and attention that His Majesty King Abdullah attaches to relations with Iraq and the cooperation shown by Jordanian ministers with their Iraqi counterparts to overcome any obstacles facing joint cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Talks also touched on political and security developments in the region and the importance of maintaining continuous coordination on issues of common concern.
They also discussed the establishment of joint strategic projects that enhance integration between the two countries. Also on Wednesday, the Prime Minister met with the President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region Nechirvan Barzani, discussing joint cooperation and mutual opportunities.
