PM leaves for Davos to attend WEF

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Tuesday left the Kingdom to participate in the annual summit of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, which sees the participation of heads of state, ministers, businesspeople and chairs of global companies.
The prime minister will take part in a session on Wednesday titled: "Geopolitical Outlook: The Middle East and North Africa", which will be moderated by WEF President Borge Brende, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The premier's agenda also includes bilateral meetings with senior officials, representatives of global companies and heads of participating delegations. Also on Tuesday, a Royal Decree was issued assigning Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi as acting prime minister.
