AMMAN — Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa on Thursday at Al Safriya Palace received Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, who conveyed a message from His Majesty King Abdullah, in which King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Hussein conveyed their greetings to Bahraini King and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The message wished the Bahraini King and Crown Prince further health and Bahrain further progress and prosperity, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The message also affirmed the "long-standing, historical and brotherly" relations between Jordan and Bahrain, and the consistent aspiration to elevate relations to serve the mutual interests of both countries.

The message also stressed joint positions and sustained coordination and consultation on various issues of mutual interest.

The Bahraini king asked Khasawneh to convey his greetings to King Abdullah and Crown Prince Hussein, and his best wishes for continuous progress and prosperity to the Jordanian people.

Khasawneh highlighted the special status that Bahrain, its leadership and people hold to King Abdullah, Crown Prince Hussein and the people of Jordan, as well as the desire to strengthen relations, which are a "model of brotherly and fruitful cooperation".
