Pilots in ‘good condition’ after army helicopter crashes

AMMAN — Two Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) pilots survived a helicopter crash on Wednesday afternoon, after a technical malfunction during a training flight in the Ghabawi area, according to a JAF source.
The pilots made an emergency landing, with the helicopter catching fire after hitting the ground, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Both pilots managed to exit the helicopter and were transferred to King Hussein Medical Centre, where they were reported to be in good condition.
