AMMAN — Several members of the Jordan Pharmacists Association on Sunday held out a sit-in near the Prime Ministry to press the authorities to set a date to elect the syndicate’s council, over a year after the last one was dissolved due to several resignations.
Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab met with the protesters previously at the Health Ministry and said the ministry is waiting for the government committee temporarily running the association to select a date for the elections, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
