PDTRA advisory council examines ways to boost tourism

PETRA — The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) advisory council on Thursday discussed ways to develop the tourism sector.
During a meeting, attended by HRH Princess Dana Firas, PDTRA Chief Commissioner Mohammad Nawafleh highlighted the region’s achievements and obstacles facing the development process, including poor infrastructure services, traffic congestion and environment al pollution.
He also highlighted studies prepared to deal with these issues.
The advisory council, which started its work in August, comprises representatives from the local community and tourism experts.
