Parliamentary delegation to attend NAM conference in Azerbaijan

AMMAN — A parliament delegation, headed by Lower House Speaker Abdul Karim Dughmi will take part in the Baku Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network (NAM) in Azerbaijan.
Under the theme of "boosting the role of national parliaments in promoting global peace and sustainable development", the Baku conference is scheduled for June 30, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
NAM is a forum of 120 countries that are not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc.
After the United Nations, it is the largest grouping of states worldwide, according to its website.
