Panel discusses QRTA teacher diploma programme

AMMAN () — Al Hussein Bin Talal University on Tuesday organised a panel discussion on the “Queen Rania Teachers Academy [QRTA] Pre-service Professional Diploma Programme”, launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania last year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The panel discussion was held in cooperation with the QRTA, the University of Jordan, the Ministry of Education and University College London’s Institute of Education.
Director of the QRTA Pre-service Professional Diploma Programme Suhair Al Khatib said the diploma programme was launched for aspiring teachers with a bachelor’s degree.
Khatib also said that the programme will consist of 24 credit hours spread over nine months, providing trainees both direct and online learning, in addition to practical training in public and private schools.
