Overall pass rate of 2022 Shamel exam reaches 65.9%

AMMAN — The overall pass rate of the 2022 summer session of the Shamel exam, the annual comprehensive final exam for community college students, reached 65.9 per cent, Al Balqa Applied University President Abdullah Zu’bi announced on Wednesday.

Zu’bi, who is also the head of the higher committee of the exam, said during a press conference that 7,281 students sat for the exam, 4,799 of whom passed. Students represented 50 colleges in 143 specialisations, he added, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
