One of north’s ‘most dangerous’ drug traffickers arrested — PSD

AMMAN — One of the northern region's most dangerous drug traffickers was arrested on Tuesday in Ajloun's Anjarah region. The trafficker was arrested after police determined his whereabouts while he was attempting to sell narcotics.
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said that the fugitive, described as armed and very dangerous, is wanted on 20 cases related to drug trafficking, racketeering, robbery, inducing public panic and resisting police.
While the trafficker was attempting to sell narcotic substances, he was searched by a special police force, the spokesperson said, noting that the he showed resistance to police. He was arrested in possession of a quantity of an unspecified crystalline substance, the spokesperson said, adding that investigations had been launched to refer the trafficker to the sources of the security requests, according to a PSD statement.
