One dead, 22 injured in separate incidents

AMMAN — A 45-year-old man died on Sunday and another was injured when their car overturned on the Jerash-Amman road.

Civil Defence Department (CDD) staff took the injured and body to Jerash Public Hospital.

Also on Sunday, 16 people were injured when a bus overturned and hit an electricity pole in the Southern Ghor.

In another incident, five people were injured in a collision between a truck and a smaller vehicle on the Zarqa-Balaama road.

CDD cadres administered first aid to the injured and took them to Zarqa Public Hospital, where they were reported to be in fair condition.
